Enjoy a 5 day holiday exploring the North East visits to Northumberland, Newcastle, Hadrian’s Wall, Alnwick and to the famous Beamish Museum.

Whilst on tour, the following program includes;

• • Northumberland coastal explorer visiting the famous fishing village of Seahouses, Bamburgh and also across the causeway to Holy Island. We also visit historic Berwick-upon-Tweed. A coastal town with sandy beaches, riverside walks, famous bridges and heritage attractions situated at the most northerly tip of Northumberland, just 3 miles from the Scottish Border.

  • Free time to explore the glorious city of Newcastle, exploring the city’s many attractions and award-winning museums or may be walk across the famous Millennium Bridge to discover the latest exhibitions at The Sage.

  • Free time at leisure in Alnwick with opportunity to visit to the world-famous gardens which will be at their spring best with colourful displays and eye-catching features such as the cascading waterfalls and giant Tree House. Free time here too to explore the historic town and perhaps visit the Castle. 

  • Included visit to Beamish – Beamish is a living, working museum, set in 300 acres of beautiful Durham countryside. Costumed folk bring to life the Town, Pit Village, Home Farm and Pockerley Old Hall. See how life was through the decades right up until the 1950s.

  • We head to Hexham and step back in time at the famous Abbey. Take in the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful stained glass and visit the interactive exhibition. We also visit Chester’s Roman Fort and Museum along Hadrian’s Wall. Wander around the unusually well preserved baths and steam room and officers’ quarters.
