By popular request we have a short break based in Chester. A city full of historic treasures waiting to be discovered. The city is home to the most complete City Walls in Britain dating from the Roman occupation 2,000 years ago built to protect the city. Today you can take the 2 mile walk of the walls and admire the beautiful heritage of Chester. The unique 700 year old Rows are home to both independent and high street names taking shopping therapy a whole new level.

The Queens at Chester Hotel ****

The Queen at Chester is situated only a short walk from the Roman walls, historic sites, museums and the wonderful shopping experience of this great historic city. Built opposite Chester station to serve first-class rail passengers, The Queen at Chester Hotel, BW Premier Collection (formerly a Hallmark Hotel) has an illustrious past. This magnificent brick and stucco Italianate building was said to be the first skyscraper of its time, and you'll be following in the footsteps of some rather famous guests with a stay here. Since opening in 1860, it's hosted none other than Charles Dickens, Cecil Rhodes and Lillie Langtry, to name but a few.
